Catrin O Neill
Formely of Sticlebrix and O'Neills Bone. Catrin O'Neill is very Welsh (and so is a lot of her music) but has an Irish surname. Decended from the Kings of Ulster (aparently they were not a very nice bunch) she is originally from Aberdyfi in North Wales but is in the process of relocating to the Vale of Glamorgan (and very exited about diving into the South Wales music scene).
Catrin plays Welsh, Irish and English trad folk along with original material in both Welsh and English. Her material ranges from beautiful Welsh airs to silly Irish drinking songs accompanied only with bodhran. She sings, plays guitar and bodhran and is often accompanied by bouzouki, whistle and harp.
